About MM&G Mining And Engineering Services


The fabrication plant spans a floor area of 12 000 sq. meters under roof, this work space is supported by Five 5 tone, fife 2 tone and 2 eight tone cranes. The plant and equipment are well maintained by an in-house maintenance team.The manufacturing and technical workforce is well trained and skilled in their particular jobs, with vast experience in steel fabrication and project work.


The company is accredited for ISO 9001:2008 by Bureau Veritas to comply with the requirements as listed in the Code of Practice. All work carried out on this contract will be in accordance with this Code of Practice and the procedures currently in operation in our workshops. MM&G has a well entrenched reputation, particularly with the Mining and Power Sectors, for high quality fabrication and project management.


As one of a few substantial and genuinely Black Empowered steel fabricating companies in South Africa, the company aims to capitalize on the opportunities on offer to Black Empowered companies in the country. Specifically we are pursuing markets in the infrastructural sectors of the economy such as Steel Fabrication and Erection.

Training & Skills Transfer

Training is continuous and conducted both internally and externally. Current Training programs include:
  • Specific skills training such as boiler making, welding etc
